Description
This kit is designed to add reliability to your Vanagon radiator fan system, which is a very important system!
The stock ground path for your radiator fan is small, and it grounds to the small “ground tree” behind the fuse panel. Oftentimes, this ground fails due to increased resistance caused by age and corrosion. Our kit adds an additional, beefy ground path to ensure that your radiator fan works like it’s supposed to.
Installation instructions included.
Bonus application: This wire is also sized to work as a supplemental engine ground from the left side of the engine block to the ground point near the coil.
Fit Notes
When used as a radiator fan ground, this ONLY fits vans equipped with the larger 450W fan that came in later model vans with air conditioning. Please check your vehicle and determine if you have the proper fan with the wires secured to a threaded post with a nut.
It will fit any water-cooled gas engine as an engine ground.
